iZombie Season 4, Episode 5 preview: Liv takes to the ice

Liv eats the brain of a hockey player in iZombie Season 4, Episode 5, becoming a goon as she stumbles upon Chase Grave’s evil plan.

iZombie Season 4 has already been full of entertaining brains. It’s hard to imagine that the writers could keep coming up with these personalities but they do, and Rose McIver plays them off extremely well, every single time. As a hockey fan, this is a week I’m looking forward to a lot. In fact, the whole house is (along with a hockey-mad child!).

Liv eats the brain of a murdered hockey player in Episode 5, titled “Goon Squad.” She’ll take to the ice, while also uncovering Chase Grave’s evil plan. Since the promo shows Blaine is back in police custody, will this be linked to Renegade’s kidnapping, the cure, or both? It’s about time the cure comes up and Liv and Ravi learn Blaine is the one with it; using it for his evil gains.

In the sneak peek below, you’ll get a chance to see one of Fillmore-Graves’ own police inspectors in the morgue, as the bodies of three zombies and a human turn up dead from the same MO. I won’t say any more in case you don’t want spoilers, but you can watch the sneak peek for more of a look if you want:

Meanwhile, Major has to make a difficult decision. Considering he’s been handling the video of a civilian being turned into a zombie and the fears of Fillmore-Graves’ zombies going into rage mode, there’s a chance that this is something to do with one of the young zombies he’s mentoring. Which one will it be, as both have tempers on them when they need to?

Peyton will also end up in the middle of a situation—and hopefully it means she’ll get a bigger storyline than just being a side piece to one of the men or just a friend of Liv’s.
