Supernatural actor Jensen Ackles admits that even he thought that Demon Dean was underappreciated and underused.

Remember Demon Dean? Back in Season 10 of Supernatural? You can be forgiven if you have forgotten. There was this huge hype about Jensen Ackles playing Demon Dean but sadly there was just no follow-through.

Fast forward to Season 10 and Demon Dean lasted a total of three episodes. By Episode 4 Dean was no longer demonic. All this hype, all this build, to last a measly three episodes.

Even Jensen Ackles thinks this was underappreciated and underused

And even Jensen Ackles thinks it was an underappreciated and underused. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, both Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki were asked about which Supernatural season is underappreciated. Both actors had different answers but for Jensen, it was Season 10 and Demon Dean.

"Looking back, which Supernatural season is underappreciated?ACKLES: Season 10 had Demon Dean, [who was] underappreciated and underused."

So it’s not just part of the SPN Family that didn’t like how this storyline played out but even Jensen Ackles himself.
