The Big Bang Theory season 11, episode 19 recap

This week a war breaks out all because Penny eats a sandwich! Here is how it played out in the latest episode of The Big Bang Theory!

Last weeks Big Bang Theory episode left the audience sympathizing with Bernadette’s mom brain and worried Leonard would find himself in the doghouse with Penny when he sneakily checked her phone and went behind her back to meet Bill Gates. The beginning of this weeks episode proves it may be another person in the dog house though.
What causes all this? A sandwich. That’s right! Check out what shenanigans ensued on tonight’s episode…
Chinese Food VS Sandwiches
The show kicks off with Sheldon getting angry at Penny for eating a sandwich on a night that is usually the gang’s designated Chinese food night. Penny has fallen in love with a sandwich truck that parks on the street in front of their apartment. He grows even more frustrated when Amy takes Penny’s side, arguing that the sandwich began in China and they get in a fight that causes everyone else to leave the apartment.
The “Tenants” Association
Leonard and Penny get upset with Sheldon when he complains to the tenants association, forcing their beloved sandwich truck to move. Penny and Leonard grow even more chagrined when they find out that Sheldon is the tenants association so they have no way to complain! As Leonard and Penny go back through their time at the apartment, they realize Sheldon has been charging them money for different complaints, all the while posing as the tenant committee. He even gave them a fine for singing him Happy Birthday too loudly! Amy picks Sheldon’s side when he declares, “Next time I have a meeting in the shower you’re are welcome to attend!” Even so, she finds herself caught in the middle.
She goes behind Sheldon’s back to give Leonard and Penny a plan to get the sandwich truck to return to their street. Leonard runs for the tenant committee as a desperate attempt to win against Sheldon. Shockingly, no one wants to vote against him. Some don’t want to vote against him because they don’t even want to attend the meeting. One person doesn’t want to vote against him because Sheldon has a restraining order against him. Through a series of mental gymnastics by Amy, Leonard and Penny find out that Sheldon isn’t really a tenant and vote Leonard president. Sheldon only surrenders his power when Leonard argues that it is something Ant-Man would have done.
Drone to Hot Girl
Meanwhile, Raj and Howard are relaxing in the hot tub where they discover a crashed drone with a broken propeller. Howard fixes the drone to which Raj explains, “You’re like Grey’s Anatomy for robots. Why isn’t that a show? It could be General Botspital.” At Bernadette’s urging, Raj and Howard look at the video feed to see if they can find the drone’s owner. When Raj realizes the owner of the drone is a cute girl he grows determined to find her.
They find a pin that leads them to the comic book store. Stuart recognizes the woman as a customer and gives the guys her address. Raj goes to return the drone and manages to get the girl’s phone number. When the girl sees Raj and Howard on the recorded drone footage though Raj says some stupid things. Will this cause him to lose his chance? Will his horrible habit of putting his foot in his mouth cost him the girl?
Final Thoughts
I hope Raj gets the girl, it’s time he finds true love. Any man who loves his dog, the stars, and to be the cook in the kitchen deserves a good woman. I also keep wondering if Leonard and Penny are going to have that baby they keep talking about. Meanwhile, I just keep waiting for Sheldon to get cold feet. I hope it does not happen though.
