iZombie: What will happen to Liv’s new love interest Levon?

Liv doesn’t have the best of luck when it comes to romantically relationships on iZombie. Is there any hope for new love interest Levon?

Things are beginning to heat up with “Livon,” for those unaware that’s the ship name for Liv and Levon. Thanks to an interview Rose McIver conducted with Collider, we knew before the season 4 premiere of iZombie that Liv would be getting a new love interest in the form of Levon.

But, Liv does not have a very good track record. We all know how things have gone with Major, her ex-fiance/on-again-off-again boyfriend. He has gone from caring social worker, to the suspected serial killer, “The Choas Killer,” who may be about to return, to a zombie, to a cured zombie, back to zombie again and now is the VP of Getting Stuff Done. Which, in short, is him acting as the muscle for Chase Graves.

Then there are the others.

Liv’s relationships on iZombie

Lowell Tracey: This was Liv’s first boyfriend since being turned into a zombie. A fellow zombie himself, the two hit it off well and things look to be getting back to normal for Liv. That was until she witnessed Lowell get shot point blank in the head by Blaine after Lowell tried and failed to murder him.

Drake Holloway: This one didn’t last very long either. A human turned zombie by Liv. She was on erotic novelist brain at the time they started their relationship and, to cut a long story short, Liv ended up having to kill him.

Justin Bells: This looked pretty promising. Both zombies, both working together for the good of mankind and zombie-kind it was such a shame that it all fell apart after Liv had a one-night stand with Chase Graves. Justin’s boss. Justin found and unsurprisingly the relationship ended shortly after.

So what is going to happen this time? Will Levon be killed off? Will Liv do something to drive him away?

First thing to look at is Daniel Bonjour casting as Levon itself. When it was first reported by TVLine that he would be jong the series it was reported he would “recur in season 4.” So no set amount of appearances have been announced. Therefore if Levon is to be written out in some way, it is unclear when or how it would happen.

So it looks like he is at least here for the longhaul has Liv’s new love interest.

But let’s speculate. What might happen to the happy couple?

An obvious outcome is they get discovered in the underground trafficking of turning humans into zombies. Something which is outlawed and punishable by death. Liv is currently the face of this operation with Levon working in the background.

Levon may get caught and sentenced to death by Graves. Another possibly is Liv is caught and sentenced to death but Levon takes her place. A sort of self-sacrifice-type scenario.

A less obvious possibly is Liv, or maybe even Levon, will eat a particular brain forcing them to take on a personality that will drive them apart.
