Wayward Sisters: How is the potential spin-off looking?

With a recent report over which pilots are making the most noise and how likely they are to be picked up, how is Wayward Sisters looking?

Supernatural has been given the nods for its 14^th season. Something a lot of us, including myself, began to become doubtful if it would happen or not. With that renewal, however, came the impression that Wayward Sisters would be announced if the spin-off was going ahead or not.

Obviously, that didn’t actually happen and things have remained fairly quiet. This, in retrospect, was not actually a bad thing. So where are we then on the Wayward Sisters front? How exactly is the potential Supernatural spin-off looking?

Pilot Panic 2018

While we have no official announcements from either Wayward Sisters or the CW network. Deadline has looked at the possible spin-off as part of their “Pilot Panic,” Panic 2018. Looking at a variety of pilots from across all the prime time networks. Wayward Sisters gets a mention on their list of CW pilots.

They have listed Wayward Sisters as one of the shows making the most noise and is a strong contender for getting picked up by the CW, referencing to how well the pilot episode did. They also mentioned the mortician drama Playing Dead as another strong contender.

So while there is no official news coming from the show or the network, it does look like Wayward Sisters is heading in the right direction.
