NCIS: Is Abby dead? We have the answer! [Spoiler]

NCIS left Abby fans gasping at their screens. Is Abby really dead? We have the answer.

Before we begin. If, somehow, you missed it in the title. This is a spoiler post about the fate of Abby. Read only if you are happy with spoilers.

In the final moments of tonight’s episode of NCIS a mugger pulled out a gun on both Abby and Reeves. Abby being Abby was her usual kind and caring self, offered to help the mugger though what ever it is he is going through.

However this backfired completely as the mugger saw this as offensive. In his anger he aimed, squeezed the trigger and fired off a shot. The screen cut to black leaving every Abby fan on the planet shocked.

Next week’s promo was then unveiled and it did nothing to help calm anyone down. It showed Abby in hospital breathing with the help of a ventilator.

Is Abby dead?

Well we all know she is coming out of the series. Pauley Perrette will appear for the final time as Abby next week.

So it is very possible that this is how she is coming out of NCIS. 

Thankfully you don’t have to wait until next week to find as CBS has already release promo photos for the episode and there is one specific image that reveals all.

As you can see. She is up, hugging, and very much alive. So the question now is: How is Abby leaving NCIS? Does the shooting tie into it at all?
