In Dynasty Season 1, Episode 21, Alexis Carrington’s plot is revealed!

This week, surprises are everywhere as we head closer to the finale, in the episode entitled “Trashy Little Tramp.” Adam Carrington arrives to Atlanta to meet the family, the Colbys finally learn the truth and Fallon has to decide what she really wants in life.

The Colbys talk to granny

Last week, Alexis (Nicollette Sheridan) told Jeff (Sam Adegoke) that he is a Carrington. He tells his sister Monica  (Wakeema Hollis) what Alexis told him, and the two decide to meet up with their maternal grandma (L. Scott Caldwell) and try to find the truth.

Granny is angry that they even asked her such a question, leaving Jeff and Monica with appropriate looks of shame.

But, later, while the two are dining at home on takeout Asian food, granny shows up, and reveals that what Alexis said was really the truth. Referring tot he current #MeToo moment, she explained that she did have Thomas Carrington’s (Bill Smitrovich) daughter, against his wishes.

The Colby siblings later speak with Alexis, revealing that granny confirmed their Carrington genes. In return, Alexis has her own relation: the will, drawn up by one of her lawyer pals, was set up so that all of Thomas Carrington’s grandchildren would get equal shares of Carrington Atlantic, and that means that Jeff and Monica are entitled to their fair share.

Meet Adam Carrington

Steven (James Mackay) brings Adam (Brent Antonello) to the household to meet the rest of the family. Alexis is obsessed with the return of her son. Asking her mom if she has a new “boy toy,” Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) is clearly in shock that such a brother existed. Meanwhile, Blake (Grant Show) refuses to believe that this Adam is his son.

Adam offers to give Steven and Sammy Jo (Rafael de la Fuente) a bachelor party, which causes a rift between the two lovebirds. The event is a hoe down, hardly the typical elegant Carrington affair.

When one of the attendees makes a gay slur, Adam goes to beat up the guy, revealing that he has a prosthetic finger. This revelation turns Blake teary-eyed, as he had kept it a secret that when Adam was kidnapped as a baby, the kidnappers chopped part of his finger.

Blake never even told Alexis, as he did not want to upset her anymore. This is the confirmation that this is his son, and Blake shows he has an emotional side, surprising his children.

Fallon makes a choice

Fallon spends her first day as COO interviewing Michael (Robert Christopher Riley) for a new position related to the recent events at Clark County. She is instantly pitted between her job and loyalty to her father, with her love for Michael.

She visits Claudia Blaisdel (Brianna Brown) at an institution, where Blake put her, to discuss some papers that Matthew (Nick Wechsler) had collected on Clark County. Claudia tells her where she can find the documents.

Clearly choosing Michael, Fallon has a board meeting without dad, but with Culhane by her side, advising the board members that she should be made CEO and refers to Matthew’s previous investigation.

Cristal gets ready to leave Blake

Cristal (Nathalie Kelley) visits her lawyer, discussing how she can get more than what she signed for her prenup. She doesn’t want to file yet, as she doesn’t want this divorce to overshadow Steven and Sammy Jo’s wedding. But meanwhile, she checks out a condo, and an investigator that Alexis hired takes some photos.

In order to overcome the recent Clark County scandals, the Carringtons have a glamorous photo shoot to show how beautiful and loving they are to the world. Cristol is quite lovey-dovey around Blake, not trying to arouse any suspicions that she will soon divorce him. Yet, Cristal’s scheme has been revealed, as Alexis shows Cristal the photos of her and her real estate agent at the condo.

Having seen the photos, Blake later threatens Cristal that if she leaves him, she will spend her life in prison for the crimes she committed in Venezuela. He explains he can hardly get divorced after taking these loving photos. He claims that the board will not believe anything he says if his marriage proves to be a lie.

Will Steven and Sammy Jo get married?

Alexis reveals her plot

Adam is indeed Alexis’ boy toy, as the two hash over her plan to take over Carrington Atlantic and Blake’s billions. She appears quite smug that she has set up Blake by revealing to the Colby’s their Carrington roots, and bringing in a fake Adam. It is not clear whether bringing Cullhane together with Fallon is part of her plan, but it certainly helps in weakening Blake.

The fake Adam is trying to get physical with his fake mom, but she won’t have any of it. He does allude to his recently chopped off finger, hinting of future trouble, stating that he should get more money from his sacrifice. Alexis appears quite smug when told Adam that she was glad she saw that detail in the police report. This is what convinced Blake that he was their son.

Back from the dead

The episode ends with a return to Claudia at the hospital, speaking to an unidentified man in a baseball hat. When he turns, it is Matthew Blaisdel, who died early in the season! Matthew tells Claudia to trust no one, clearly with his own plot of revenge.

Next: Will the real Carrington please stand up?
