On Agents of SHIELD, General Glenn Talbot recently became enhanced. After subjecting his body to the Gravitonium in the experimental Hydra machine, he transformed. The result, however, has been less than great.

Apparently, Daisy isn’t the Destroyer of Worlds after all. Despite all the signs pointing to Daisy’s destruction of Earth, it’s actually General Talbot who’s responsible. Talbot recently underwent a massive transformation wherein he absorbed the Gravitonium stored on Zephyr One. In doing so, Talbot has become some version of Graviton. The latest episode provided more evidence to those claims.

In the latest episode of Agents of SHIELD, Talbot spoke of how Franklin Hall is inside of his mind. Presumably, Talbot absorbed Hall during the Gravitonium transference. What this means for Talbot is that anyone he absorbs will become part of him, that includes Hall. If so, Hall’s crazed ideas could be influencing Talbot. He does seem somewhat deranged and unlike his more mild-mannered self. Therefore, it’s safe to say Talbot’s transformation has turned him into the real Destroyer of Worlds.

Nevertheless, this change could end in a number of different ways. Since the SHIELD agents are fighting to prevent a bleak future from coming to pass, again, stopping Talbot / Graviton is probably a part of that fight. If they’re successful, General Talbot could return to Earth as the planet’s newest protector. Keep in mind that Talbot’s deranged psyche needs to be addressed before he can save anyone.

Assuming Talbot returns back to normal, he may form a superhero team of his own. He obviously has an unsavory opinion of the Avengers, so perhaps creating a government-funded team is where he’ll go. The U.S. government already has Deathlok and Carl Creel in their employ, one or two more heroes would be all they need to form a whole team.

The point is, Talbot, becoming the newest enhanced individual has opened the door for him to become a supervillain or a superhero. Whatever he chooses, Talbot is going to be in the center of the action. And, it looks like he’ll be joined by Coulson after he’s powered up with the new Centipede device. Coulson, too, will become enhanced when Fitz and Simmons use the Centipede to cure him of the poison killing him. Though, a fight between them will likely end with one dead.
