Kyle Richards’ new show American Woman will premiere on Paramount this week, which has fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills excited to get to know more about the way she grew up.

Kyle Richards has put her heart and soul into her new scripted show American Woman. This show is inspired by her life but is a scripted show and not all the way Kyle’s upbringing went for her. Of course, everything won’t be the same, but you are going to see the way that Kyle grew up along with her sisters Kathy Hilton and Kim Richards. This show is set in 70s Hollywood.

The mother in this show is loosely based on Kyle’s mom Kathleen Richards. Kyle is behind the entire show, being one of the executive producers. When they cast this show, they picked up some big names including Alicia Silverstone, Mena Suvari, Cheyenne Jackson, James Tupper, and Jennifer Bartels. Paramount was lucky enough to land the show American Woman.

In the preview, the young girls are being told that a “liar is the worst thing you can be,” but of course, mom wasn’t a fan of them being a stripper either. Alicia Silverstone’s husband is seen having an affair after telling her that he had an emergency at work. This lead to the couple splitting up. It is time for her to find a job and take care of her daughters. Then you can see that things get a bit wild and crazy as she starts living her own life as a single woman in the working world.

As Bravo TV recently shared, Kyle has been through some ups and downs with her sisters over the years and there is a chance that American Woman could help mend some of these issues. Kyle shared that things with Kim are doing well and she sent her a copy of the DVD of the new show. Kathy and Kyle actually haven’t been speaking and part of the reason is this new show. She recently shared saying, “Honestly, not right now, and that’s why I’m looking forward to her seeing American Woman, because I think she’s gonna look and say, ‘I read the situation wrong,’ and then we’ll go from there.” Hopefully, American Woman can heal their situation once Kathy gets a glimpse of it.

American Woman will air on June 7 at 10/9c with new episodes every Thursday night on Paramount.
