November 13: Attack on Paris — June 1

On June 1, Netflix is kicking off the month with a three-part documentary series in which Jules and Gédéon Naudet (directors of 9/11) retell the attacks in Paris on November 13, 2015, from the perspective of the victims and people involved in helping others.

Synopsis: Following the chronology of the events, the documentary will share testimonies of the people brought together by tragedy, from the survivors, the fire department, the police and the leaders of the French government.

The Break with Michelle Wolf — June 3

Unlike most series on the streaming service, The Break with Michelle Wolf is a weekly half hour sketch series. This means, each week Netflix will release a new episode. The first one is already available if you want to check it out before the second one premieres on June 3.

Marvel’s Luke Cage — June 22

We met him in Jessica Jones, watched him kick ass in the first season of his own series, reunited with him in Marvel’s The Defenders, and now, Luke Cage is back with Season 2! We can’t wait to check it out!

Not caught up with Luke Cage or the Netflix-Marvel shows? You’re missing out! They’re all streaming now so get up to speed before the premiere.

Secret City — June 26

The synopsis is: “A student’s protest leads to a government scandal that has personal and professional repercussions for one of Australia’s toughest journalists.” Into dramas? This one sounds like your next binge!

Glow Season 2 — June 29

If you haven’t watched Glow on Netflix (the first season is already available), here’s a quick synopsis: Inspired by the real story of the 1980’s female wrestling league, the series — set in Los Angeles and showcasing big hair and body slams — will be the fictionalized story of an out of work actress who finds one last attempt to live her dreams in the form of a weekly series about female wrestlers.

Catch up with season one before the premiere of the second! You’ll be hooked.
