Supernatural Season 14 potential premiere date

Spoiler TV has released a potential premiere date for Supernatural Season 14. It certainly sounds like a possibility.

Like recent seasons, it looks like The CW will opt for an October premiere date for its shows. This helps to reduce the number of breaks during the seasons and keep the Christmas and March hiatuses to a minimum. It now looks like the Supernatural Season 14 premiere date has been set, according to SpoilerTV.

The publication took a look at the dates Warner Bros. gives for its shows. Supernatural is one of its shows, along with many others on The CW. While the dates aren’t set in stone, they are certainly strong possibilities based on previous years. The CW won’t likely confirm its premiere dates until the summer.

Right now, we’re looking at October 11 as a premiere date for Supernatural Season 14. This is the second week in October, so certainly works for when the network usually premieres its shows now.

It also works when looking at previous seasons. Supernatural Season 13 premiered on October 12 last year and Supernatural Season 12 premieres on October 13, 2016.

The one thing working against the date is looking at other proposed dates from Warner Bros. on other networks. The Big Bang Theory Season 12’s premiere is proposed for the same day as SPN, but last year the premiere was September 25, two weeks earlier. Even if TBBT kept a Thursday night throughout the season (it started on Mondays for Thursday Night Football on CBS), it would have been September 27 and still two weeks before SPN.

However, CBS tends to start its shows two weeks earlier than The CW. It could just be that the CBS date is off, but The CW’s is right.

The premiere date for Season 13 came in August. We can expect a confirmation of Season 14 around the same time from The CW.
