Younger season 5 premiere preview: The real reason Charles called Liza in Ireland

In the Season 5 premiere of Younger, Liza returns from Ireland and finds trouble with Charles’ latest project. Will he finally learn the truth?
When we last left Younger, Liza and Maggie traveled to Ireland to watch Josh hastily marry Clare to secure her a green card. With Charles patching things up with Pauline in the wake of Marriage Vacation, Liza gave into Josh’s prematurely cold feet… but he ultimately went through with the wedding to “put a ring between them.” In the midst of the cell phone-free ceremony, Liza’s phone lights up with a call from Charles. Is he ready to make a commitment?
As it turns out, the small shred of hope the Season 4 finale left us with for the inevitable Liza-Charles romance has everything to do with disgraced Empirical author L.L. Moore. After losing their biggest author to an editor shuffle, the famed fantasy writer will come under fire for sexual harassment allegations, including Liza’s time in the fur bikini. While a jaw-dropping cliffhanger has been promised for the premiere, Season 5 will also find Kelsey dating two men. When Liza gives her grief, Kelsey argues, “You have been gaslighting an entire company since I met you. Can I have one secret?” She makes a point!
Will Kelsey be forced to choose between her two love interests? Has the Liza and Charles ship sailed, or will they finally find their chance to make it work?
