David Haydn-Jones relaunches <3 T-shirt campaign

After a successful first round and requests from the public, David Haydn-Jones is bringing back his <3 T-shirt campaign. There may even be two designs this time.

There’s a huge story to the <3 campaign. It’s a loveable, funny one that most of the SPN Family found themselves chuckling about a year ago. That story launched the <3 (or the Less Than Three = Love) campaign. David Haydn-Jones is bringing the campaign back for another year and we may even get two designs.

That story is huge but relatively quick to tell. Basically, like many of us at first when we used the old Emoji language, Haydn-Jones thought the <3 meant he was being rated “less than three.” Eventually, some kind soul told him it was a heart. Honestly, I do think we’ve all been there at some point for a couple of seconds before seeing the shape it made!

That quickly turned into a thing on Twitter and Haydn-Jones decided to do something loveable about it. He made a T-shirt campaign. All money was raised for the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, a charity close to his heart.

Now it’s time for round two, which the Supernatural actor has confirmed may just include two designs. One of those will be the original one, so you’ve been granted an extra life in getting your hands on this awesome T-shirt with the funniest backstory you’ll find online. There’s no clue on what the second design will look like yet. Haydn-Jones kept us all up to date with the first design, so maybe he’ll do the same for the second.

The release of this T-shirt is coinciding with Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, Pride Month, and Math Rebus Awareness. It’s a big three and we all know what three equals…
