Shows to watch while waiting for Riverdale Season 3
With Riverdale’s 3rd season in the works, many people need new shows to watch.
Whether it be Riverdale or any other show that is taking a break from airing right now, there are tons of other shows to choose from. Many shows have just finished their past season and are filming another. Although some of your favorite shows may not be airing right now, here are a couple different shows that you can watch while you wait!
Shows on Nexflix
Gossip Girl
If you’re itching for a series with some drama, Gossip Girl is a real contender. The show features a group of privileged teens living in the Big Apple, suffering the wrath of an anonymous internet bully called Gossip Girl.
The series is six seasons long and jam-packed with drama and romance.
Pretty Little Liars
If you’re missing investigating the mysteries of Riverdale, step into the world of the Pretty Little Liars. The show features four girls who come together to solve the case of their missing friend, but also to defend against an anonymous enemy called “A.”
The series ended in mid-2017, with seven seasons of secrets, drama, and of course, lies.

Are you looking for a series that has drama, romance, action, and supernatural beings, all in one? The Vampire Diaries will deliver all of this and more with a punch. Or shall I say, a bite? The show features a troubled teen girl named Elena, whose whole life changes when she meets the Salvatore brothers.
The series just ended last year, with a total of eight seasons that just get more intense with every episode.
Shows airing on television
All of the following shows are in their later seasons, and you would have to catch up if you haven’t seen them. Despite that, here are three shows airing now that you can watch while you wait.
The 100
It all starts with an intergalactic society that lives in space and is running out of air. One hundred teens are sent down to Earth, regardless of the risks from the prior war. If you love action, romance, drama, and sci-fi themes, you may very well love The 100.
The series was just renewed for a sixth season and is currently airing its fifth on the CW every Tuesday at 9 pm.
Grey’s Anatomy
If you haven’t already seen this show, it is definitely a must watch. There is truly something for almost every viewer: drama, romance, plot twists and more. The show gives an insider’s perspective into the drama and real-life moments of a hospital environment. Grey’s Anatomy is an emotional rollercoaster that anyone would gladly ride.
The series is such a fan favorite that it has been airing for 14 seasons, and renewed for one more. The show aired its season finale and will continue airing its next season soon on ABC.
Nashville
If you’re missing the drama, romance, and even music of Riverdale, Nashville may be a show that fulfills all of your series needs. The show features the lives of many country stars in Nashville, Tennessee, and not to mention the inexplicable drama that comes with them.
The series is now on its sixth and final season, airing on CMT every Thursday at 9 pm.
