Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger season 1, episode 4 recap
Tyrone and Tandy spend a lot more time together in Call/Response and that’s a great thing for the duo. Check out our recap.
Tyrone and Tandy spend more time together in this week’s Cloak & Dagger, which leads to them trying to figure things out with each other instead of apart like they did for the first three episodes. While I think that time apart was crucial, they’re both smart enough to know that it takes both of them to start to understand the whole picture.
At the church, Tandy and Tyrone share that the former sees people’s hopes while the latter sees their fears. Tandy uses it to see what Greg really wants from her mom and you can see the surprise on her face when his intentions actually seem good.

When the two go their own ways, Tandy wants to dig into Roxxon with Greg and Ty tries to find out more about the cop who killed his brother, but chickens out. He winds up in trouble with his dad because he took his bolt cutters. His dad takes him for a drive and takes him to a group of people known as the Mardi Gras Indians.
At the church, Tandy wants to test their limits and they end up with the same result they had in the cemetery when they touched. These two characters are tied together, but can’t even get close. However, the two start to open up to each other more about their personal lives.
While in the Ninth Ward, Tyrone unknowingly picks out his brother’s cloak and tells his dad that he’ll finish it and make it perfect. The two seem to be bonding over it and while this might have been a secret Otis was keeping, it’s one that falls on the good side as opposed to being a bad thing.
Melissa breaks up with Greg and when Tandy goes to see him, she winds up witnessing his execution. She already lost her dad and now she lost the one person who was trying to help her mom. She can’t catch a break, but she’s not one who seems like she’s going to stop digging into Roxxon now.
Tandy and Ty have their first fight because they disagree on which of them is the privileged one. Tandy pushes her own limits by trying to commit suicide, but her dagger saves her. After that we see her and Tyrone both go after what they want.

Having the two spend a significant amount of time together was done well. They were still apart, but we could see how their time together affected one another. This show is off to a wonderful start and I can’t wait for more.
