Supernatural is back in Hall H this year at SDCC. Here are our tips to get a seat to see the panel this year.

Supernatural is heading back to SDCC this year and will be in Hall H again. While many Warner Bros. shows are heading to Ballroom 20, being in Hall H is an honor and just right for our show. It’s considered the top venue for any TV show and movie while at SDCC. However, it’s also the most popular hall and it will fill up quickly.

You’ll need to be prepared to miss out on other events at SDCC to get a seat in SDCC Hall H. While there’s room for 6,500, that amount and more turn up to get a chance to see Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, and co. every single year. Last year, many fans were disappointed not to get in.

Here are our tips to make sure you get to see Supernatural on stage this year.

Get there early…like super early!

Queue up early. Because Supernatural is on in the morning, you’ll want to queue up from at least 6 am. This will give you a chance to get a seat in the hall, but you’ll probably be towards the very back. The great thing about SDCC Hall H is that there are projectors all around so you’ll still see what’s going on.

If you want to get a seat close to the front, many con-goers suggest getting in line the night before! Yes, really! Hall H is like queuing up for Black Friday sales.

Have snacks and drinks

You’ll not want to lose your place in the queue. That means taking snacks and activities to see you through the time. If you’re with others, you can arrange to take some shifts, especially when you need toilet breaks or to get more snacks.

If you’re on your own, you’ll want to chat to people in the queue next to you. You can double up with them to keep your spot when it comes to the toilet break.

Watch out for the Ballroom 20 line

Ballroom 20 is close to Hall H and it is possible that you’ll get the lines mixed up. Make sure you’re definitely in the SDCC Hall H line. It sounds like a silly tip to give at first, but you’ll be surprised at the number of times people have been in the wrong line and then been disappointed that they’re not moving anywhere!
