Young & Hungry season 5, episodes 17-18 preview: The doomed double date

In the latest episodes of Young & Hungry, Gabi and Sofia worry when Josh and Nick don’t get along during a double date. Can they make it work?
While Young & Hungry kept us preoccupied on Gabi and Josh’s rollercoaster romance, we almost forgot that Sofia couldn’t find love if she tried. But our relatable queen (shouts out to Sofia’s solo birthday celebration that’s basically a normal Friday night for most of us) finally found herself in the midst of a love triangle last week, leading to a full-blown relationship. Even though Sofia opted not to pursue Juan Carlo, the man she tried to sneak across the border, she couldn’t help but fall for Nick, the handsome lawyer with a strong personality.
Unfortunately, that strong personality might not mix well with Josh. This week’s new episodes of Young & Hungry feature the long awaited double date with Gabi and Sofia’s boyfriends. After years of living together, they both have boyfriends at the same time and can do all the things couples do. But when Josh and Nick butt heads, it’s Gabi and Sofia who end up fighting. Elsewhere, Yolanda dates a doctor in an online dating switch-up, and Gabi inherits a motorcycle. It might be the years of Gabi’s blunders talking, but a motorcycle seems like the last thing she needs.
Can Gabi and Sofia overcome their differences and, better yet, the differences of their boyfriends? What causes Josh and Nick’s conflict? Can Elliot help Yolanda with her accidental date with a doctor or blow the ruse up in her face? Why does Gabi get a motorcycle, and how long does it take for her to break or lose it?
