Burden of Truth may have already aired in Canada, but it’s now coming to The CW. Here’s how to watch the Burden of Truth series premiere live tonight.

Burden of Truth premiered in Canada earlier this year. It marked Kristen Kreuk’s return to TV since The CW’s Beauty and the Beast was canceled in 2016. Now it’s time for her to shine as a lawyer, returning to her hometown to take on a case of David and Goliath. When girls start to fall ill, her big pharma client has been accused but is it really to do with them?

The first episode sets up the story. We’ll get to meet Kreuk’s Joanna Hanley, who clearly has some secrets that she wants to hide. She’s not too happy about being in her hometown and the people there aren’t impressed at all. What is it with small towns not being happy for those who get big jobs in bigger cities? I’ve never really understood it.

Mind you, it doesn’t help that she seems to be protecting the enemy. That is until she realizes the enemy may not be her client at all. There is something in the soil, but can she prove that without angering people in the town yet again?
