Lucifer may not begin filming until the middle of August, but Tom Ellis may already be shooting some scenes in Atlanta for another show, Queen America.

Queen America, a dark comedy set in Tulsa, Oklahoma, hometown of show creator Meagan Oppenheimer, is currently being filmed in Atlanta. According to Deadline, the new Facebook Watch all-female projection stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Vicki Ellis, the “most ruthless” pageant coach in the state of Oklahoma. She will do anything to win, but when she has to coach Samantha, a young woman who has the raw goods, but none of the finesse, her coaching reputation is at serious risk.

Although they have not received confirmation from Facebook Watch, TVLine has scooped that Tom Ellis will be “wooing” Zeta-Jones in the ten-episode series. This could be an adorable favor for his fiancée Oppenheimer who supported Lucifans in getting their show picked up by Netflix.

This would certainly be a coup for the up and coming new online television service that can already boast that the star of Queen America is an Oscar winner. Catherine Zeta-Jones won an Oscar 2003 for her supporting performance in Chicago.

Adding to the incredible talent pool of this series that includes Jennifer Westfeldt and Victoria Justice, Judith Light (Transparent) has now just signed on to the Oppenheimer-led project.

Light will play Vicki’s old pageant coach Regina who years ago took a disastrous trailer park girl and turned her into the ultimate pageant superstar. As her old coach came from old money, Vicki idolized Regina, creating a complicated relationship arc between the two women that promises to be co-dependant and very competitive.

The series is directed by Aussie Alethea Jones. Facebook Watch is available for free on all devices and of course, on Facebook’s apps. As of now, there is no estimated release date.
