while we still run through all the information we learned from SDCC, the filming for the new season is still underway. Supernatural Season 14, Episode 3 has officially started. Jason Fischer shared a tweet yesterday to highlight the latest board.
The quote is interesting for the start of the filming of the episode. “Our existence is but a brief crack of light between two eternities of darkness,” by Edgar Allen Poe. It will be interesting to see how this links to the episode.
What we have learned is Jack is involved in some way. Robert Berens has written the episode and at one point he said, “Aww, Jack.” This quote could link to that. There’s a chance that Jack is struggling to come to terms with life as a human still. This is something Alexander Calvert shared would come up in this season and it was also mentioned at the SDCC panel.

Filming started yesterday at 10:30 a.m. and some of the first scenes were filmed. This suggests that the first set of scenes in Episode 3 will be during the day. Including today there are another seven days of filming the third episode left. Maybe the rest of the quotes will give us some ideas of things to expect.
Supernatural Season 14, Episode 3 is titled “The Scar.” I’ve broken down where that title comes from and what it could mean for the episode. Robert Singer is directing the episode and he has started to take more risks with filming to try something fresh and new. It will certainly be interesting to see what it could mean for this episode.
