Charlie’s Angels: 5 Reasons a reboot is futile
If Kristen Stewart is the headliner, then there is an issue. She needs more support than she’s getting.
No disrespect intended, but most people are not very familiar with Naomi Scott or Ella Balinska. Balinska is not very well known. Indeed, for the most part she’s been involved in single-episode shorts or TV series. Scott’s claim to fame is probably Power Rangers, and a good portion of the movie she was behind a mask. She’s hardly the person to bring in massive crowds. She likely established quite a rapport with Elizabeth Banks while on set.

Speaking of Elizabeth Banks, it may ultimately come down to the amount of screen time she gives herself as Bosley. Because Elizabeth Banks is clearly hilarious and uber-talented.
As the previously slide indicated, Kristen Stewart is far from a lead who can carry a film. Before casting is done with this iteration of Charlie’s Angels, there better be several more high-profile cameos included or the film is absolutely doomed.
I’m sure all the women involved are lovely and talented actresses. If they wish to continue the theme of empowered woman kicking ass and taking names, however, there will need to be something or someone else to draw in the crowds.
