Alaina Huffman design contest coming your way from Stands: Here’s all you need to know

If you love to create art and want a chance of winning a Supernatural-inspired contest, it’s worth a look at Stands’ latest offering. You can get your artwork judged by Alaina Huffman herself.

Alaina Huffman is getting ready to switch the leather jacket and rock T-shirt for her judging hat. Stands’ latest Supernatural-inspired offering is the Alaina Huffman design content. Interested in winning $500 and get your design on her next charity campaign? Here’s all you need to know.

The contest is open to all. I can’t see anywhere on the Stands terms and conditions that limits the competition to location, which is awesome. Far too many competitions are only open to people in the United States. However, there is a limit of two entries per person. That’s fair enough, right?

You’ll need to get your entries in by August 20 (that’s Misha Collins’ birthday for those that don’t know) and will need to follow the rules on watermarks, signatures, and sending the designs through set by Stands.

Alaina Huffman will then don her judge’s hat and decide on the one that will take center stage on the T-shirts. All proceeds for these shirts will go to a Bellingham, WA homeless shelter, although not all details have been shared just yet.

Stands will buy your design

The $500 is important, as it’s actually Stands buying your design by the sounds of things. You’ll need to sign a contract to release the rights to Stands and you won’t be able to sell the design anywhere else. As an artist, you may not be comfortable with this, so I wouldn’t suggest entering if that’s the case.

What about other designs? Well, you never know. Stands may love the design so much that they may want to buy it from you for a different campaign. There’s a chance Stands will submit your artwork to the licensor to use it in the shop–they will buy the design!
