Big Brother 20 recap time arrived again on August 9. Episode 20 for the summer 2018 season would focus on the sixth eviction. This would also lead to the first member of the BB20 jury.

The Level Six plan to backdoor Bayleigh Dayton was the primary focus of the “previously on Big Brother” segment. It covered Angela Rummans nominating Scottie Salton and Rockstar but having Tyler Crispen replace Scottie by the Hacker (Haleigh Broucher). As with most plans in the Big Brother 20 house, things were shaken up a bit. Later, Angela won the Power of Veto, using it to take down Tyler and place Bayleigh on the block.

Diary Room sessions begin

Angela spoke in her Diary Room session that she was pleased with how the week had gone. Tyler stated it was time to add Bayleigh to the hit list. Haleigh said it was “insane” that Angela felt Bayleigh was the Hacker. Meanwhile, Bayleigh said she felt “stupid” and “blindsided” by what had just happened. Bayleigh ended her Diary Room session by calling Angela “trash.”

Veto Competition punishments

During the August 8 episode, three members of the BB20 cast got punishments during the Veto Competition. Brett Robinson was shown doing his, which was taking care of “Jessie’s nana” for 24 hours. Meanwhile, every time a workout song came on the house loudspeakers, Kaycee Clark had to do her workout dance.

Big Brother 20 spoilers: Hacker Haleigh tells her secret

Haleigh decided she needed to tell Bayleigh about how she had won the Hacker Competition, as she couldn’t take Bayleigh being so upset following the Veto Ceremony.

Time for a BB20 House Meeting

Haleigh called a House Meeting because she decided it was time to tell the rest of the BB20 cast that she was the Hacker. During the portion of the meeting shown on the August 9 episode, Haleigh mistakenly said that Tyler had targeted Angela when it was actually Bayleigh who was targeting Angela. Tyler refuted the accusation that he wanted Angela placed on the block, while Bayleigh dug in and lashed out.

The argument got really intense, with Bayleigh and Tyler ending up in tears. A previous report by Inside the BB House covers the full House Meeting argument.

August 9 Eviction Ceremony

The eight voting houseguests got to decide who would become the first member of the BB20 jury member. The Hacker (Haleigh Broucher) canceled out the vote of Tyler CrispenKaycee Clark was up to vote first and she voted to evict Bayleigh. Brett Robinson voted to evict Bayleigh, Faysal Shafaat voted to evict Bayleigh, and Scottie Salton also voted to evict Bayleigh.

That was already enough votes to evict her. To close out the voting, Haleigh voted to evict Bayleigh, Samantha Bledsoe voted to evict Rockstar, and JC Mounduix voted to evict Bayleigh. By a vote of 6-1, Bayleigh Dayton became the first member of the jury. That brings an end to the Identity Theft power app.

Big Brother 20 recap: A new HOH is crowned

The “live” Head of Household Competition took place at the end of the episode. The houseguests took turns battling head-to-head in answering questions. The first person to answer correctly would move on. It would be played in a series of rounds. The winner of each round was also able to pick the next two people to battle against one another.

JC and Sam started it off. JC won and picked Rockstar and Tyler to play. Rockstar won and picked Kaycee and Brett to play. Brett won and picked Haleigh and Faysal to play. Haleigh won and picked Scottie and Brett to play. Brett won and picked Haleigh and Rockstar to play. Haleigh won and picked JC and Brett to play. JC won against Brett. The final was JC against Haleigh.

Haleigh Broucher is the new Head of Household.
