Lights, cameo, action! Supernatural Parody 2 has passed 1.5 million views in less than a week. Do you think you noticed every cameo from the cast and more?

Since taking on Jack Sparrow, sisters Hilly and Hannah Hindi have gone on to develop a wealth of absolutely amazing parody videos covering everything from Nightmare on Elm Street to Lady Gaga, Stranger Things and so much more. And their knack for setting up an impossible cameo is stunning.

The way things are going, we won’t be seeing the last of these geniuses anytime soon. Their patrons are now funding these fantastical productions through their Patreon page where secret magic shows itself when you help out and become part of the productions.

But let’s get serious, if you are a fan of Supernatural and you haven’t heard of Supernatural Parody 2, you should get busy watching it right now! After their first parody of the series was extremely well-received (now at 17 million views!), The Hillywood Show probably had a feeling the second one would attract some attention. Even they appear stunned at how much. Not me though, because it is the GOAT.

More from Supernatural

What really blows me away is that these young ladies not only flawlessly become the characters, they are 100% responsible for every glittery detail. I’m not just talking about pulling off this massive collaboration of cameo clusters. I mean concept, fundraising, stressing over broken set items and literally applying the make-up.

Of course, they are consistently grateful for every amazing talent who works with them on their productions. Even the extensive mentions and thank-yous (they are so grateful and polite!) of the behind-the-scenes footage on their channel can’t do justice to the magnitude of effort that they and their crew put into every single parody they bring to life. Did you read the credits?

So you’ve seen and learned all about this wonderful weirdness (if not, go back now– spoilers coming up) and you saw loads of familiar faces, right? Do you think you detected every reference and cameo? Let’s find out!

Ghostbusters, obviously.

Since the guys were super happy with how the first Supernatural parody came together, clearly they were on board for this round. Last time we saw some backstage-type giggles but this is more scripted with extremely detailed scenarios and a Ghostbusters motif.

With that said, who better to take the namesake roles? Hilly Hindi and Osric Chao are back as Dean and Sam (perfectly!) so Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki literally bust on set for their joint cameo as fellow busters.

Alex Calvert takes on the Winston character, being interviewed by Misha Collins to join the gang and put on the iconic jumpsuit (or whatever they tell him to do) if it will pay the bills. Misha amazingly adopts the receptionist, nailing the accent and demeanor, paying homage to Janine from the original movie!

Who you gonna call? Winchesters!

We’re super thrilled to see some very familiar characters turning up in Supernatural Parody 2. Adam Stuckey was amazing in the first parody so it makes sense to see the return of Crowley. Ruth Connell joins in and has tons of laughs shooting her scene as the classic sleeping woman whose sheet is pulled back by some unseen entity.

Reporters follow the story of these Winchester brothers as they go around “saving people and hunting things,” according to eye-witness reports as told by Rob Benedict. Meanwhile, Richard Speight Jr. (they totally named him T. Rickster) fills us in on a Wendigo hunt and Curtis Armstrong once again broadcasts over Angel Radio as the DJ with the news.

Rob gets to hang with his guys from Louden Swain because they are part of some massive choreography surrounding Charlie, the Impala. Charlie has multiple scenes throughout this parody as Baby with hunter/buster mods (this for sure counts as a cameo). This scene also integrates way more people than you’d think possible, including Lauren Tom, Tahmoh Penikett, Chad Lindberg, Clif Kosterman, Tyler Johnston, Samantha Ferris, Adam Fergus, and Adam Rose.

Mark Pellegrino also has a spotlight in his own cameo scene where he takes on the Slimer tribute character with all the raging Lucifer traits we’re used to. Pea soup and all, Hilly!Dean comes out of the situation having been slimed.

More than they bargained for

IRL bestie team Kim Rhodes and Briana Buckmaster just wanted a little pizza with their rockin’ fun time. When Death comes knocking to deliver, they do the “hell no!” move and slam the door in his face. He can’t figure out what the hype is all about because Death does love his pizza.

As it happens, Julian Richings seems to have that in common with his parody character. This becomes evident when we catch him munching the props between takes in the behind-the-scenes footage of this dynamic threesome cameo.

We also get some pretty funny bits in Supernatural Parody 2 when Alaina Huffman plays a very not-Abaddon role as the young owner of a very creepy and huge stuffed bear. Jake Abel (bless his poor soul) is an unhappy prisoner just trying to get his phone call to those Winchesters when we see his cameo shot in a prison cell, of course.

And how could we even begin to consider this thing complete without some reproduction of some of our favorite episodes like “Changing Channels?” A lively reproduction of the kitchen set is stunningly presented and they somehow find a way to parody a parody!

There’s also a shadowy scene with Bloody Mary trying to get Hilly!Dean into a mirror. It takes all the strength of Osric Chao and a cameo from Jim Beaver to come to the rescue for that one. In character as Bobby, Jim has visible terror when he sees the creepy Mary in the mirror but ends up winning the day, obviously.

So there, beautiful people, is a mega list of cameo appearances you may or may not have noticed in this super parody production. I know the whole thing was so darn entertaining that I missed a few the first time around. That’s just one more reason to watch this thing at least thrice! And don’t forget to peek on set and see it all come together with the 2-hour treat that shows us how Supernatural Parody 2 was done!
