SPNIndy guest appearance update: Misha Collins only available on the Saturday
Fans going to Misha Collins’ Giving Back Tour–also known as SPNIndy–have been disappointed by the news that the man himself is only there for one day. And it’s Saturday, not the Sunday fans were initially led to believe.
Creation Ent is sending out emails to all those who have purchased photo ops with Misha Collins at SPNIndy, more commonly referred to as the Giving Back Tour. What was supposed to be hosted by Collins turns out to only have one day out of three with him. And it’s a different day to what the fans initially expected.
Schedule changes are common for conventions. It’s already happened last month with Misha Collins switching to a Friday appearance for one weekend. Filming and other things get in the way.

However, this one does seem a little odd. Misha Collins in the Headliner for the Giving Back Tour. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki aren’t attending this weekend, so the angel is taking over. There’s still plenty of other Supernatural guests, but it’s still odd that Misha won’t be there for the Sunday like the usual Headliners are.
Fans are disappointed and have taken their frustrations to Twitter. Many fans have pointed out that the Saturday is going to be extremely busy on the Saturday. He’ll have the complimentary autographs for the Gold and Silver Package attendees, the regular autographs, two panels, three photos sessions, and so much more.
Could @CreationEnt fix this? This schedule already looks so exhausting and unrealistic. Please invite @mishacollins to both Saturday and Sunday for #SPNIndy

@Beckstiel puts her reasons for disappointment out eloquently but also shares some positivity within. While she’s disappointed that it looked like Misha Collins would be at SPNIndy for two days like he is at other conventions, he is now a little like Jensen and Jared at other cons. The two lead actors only appear for one day. Now Misha his headlining his own con, he’s only going to be there for one.
The disappointment is certainly in the fumble of Creation not making this decision clear.

Creation Ent just isn’t having a good month. While Supernatural fans haven’t been hit with too many changes (and have even had the change to get tickets to live stream panels and events), Outlander fans have been left extremely disappointed. Both their headliners canceled appearances for the second convention and one canceled for the first ever.
