Amy Acker is back on Suits tonight

Isn’t it fun when Supernatural guest stars pop up on other shows? Amy Acker is the latest to pop up on another show, this time returning as her character Esther on Suits.

Suits Season 8 is about to get a little Supernatural. Or maybe a little mutant since Amy Acker is now on The Gifted. Whatever role you think of her in, you’ll want to check out her character in Suits.

She’s Esther Litt, Louis’ sister who has been in two episodes so far and has previously had a fling with Harvey Specter, much to Louis’ dislike. Each time she appears, the show tries to keep her character involvement to a minimum and even tries to keep her appearance a surprise. That’s not happened this time.

Acker is in a couple of promo photos for the episode but it’s not clear why she’s there. It’s most likely linked to Louis learning that his girlfriend Sheila is pregnant. Personally, I hope that he’s turning to his sister for advice on parenting and not turning to her for support because the pregnancy test has turned out to be a false positive or Sheila loses the baby.

While Acker is best known for her roles in Angel and Person of Interest, she did appear in one episode of Supernatural. It was at the beginning, in the third episode of the first season. She’d become the first of many Buffy/Angel guest stars to make their way to Supernatural and now we’re just waiting for Buffy or Angel to turn up.

This is likely just another one-off episode. I’d love to see her on the show more, but then that could mean giving up her series regular spot on The Gifted and I don’t want that!
