The Castle Rock newcomers ended up with more than they bargained for in this week’s episode.

Castle Rock has some newcomers in town and they bought Warden Lacy’s house. Considering Castle Rock’s history, they seem a little too into their new house. Although, when Gordon’s wife finds all of Dale’s paintings, Gordon is more than happy to hang them up. However, things fall apart when their first guests are merely there to have an affair and Gordon loses his mind, stabbing them to death.

Henry was still trapped in the RV until Molly found him and got him out. The two have no clue that Odin is dead. Henry returns to the house to find his mom sleeping and the Kid in the kitchen. Wendell comes home and the Kid shows Henry what happened to Alan. The Kid mentions needing to protect Ruth and asks him if he hears it and he knows that he finally hears it. The Kid also mentions rescuing him from a basement and not asking for any of this.

Jackie swings by the bed and breakfast, but is ushered out fairly quickly since Gordon and Lilith are still cleaning up his mess. However, she finds a bloody bracelet outside and snags it. She has no problem with snooping around, but they are acting extremely suspicious.

Ruth is going on about killing Matthew out of fear, even though it’s Alan who she really killed. This scene gives us a guest appearance from Jayne Atkinson, who grills Henry about how bad things started happening once he got to town. Due to recent events, Henry thinks that it would be best to send Wendell back home. When he’s on the bus, a crow falls from the sky and Wendell starts getting the same ringing in his ears.

Henry relays what the Kid told him to Molly over the phone. He also asks if she ever went into Dale Lacy’s basement, but she hadn’t. He takes it upon himself to go there himself. When no one answers, he finds a way in and as he’s snooping around, Gordon finds him in the room where he hung a ton of Lacy’s paintings.

Lilith takes a stab at Henry and ends up stabbing her husband and slitting her own throat in the process. Henry makes it to his car, but Gordon catches up to him. Thankfully Jackie was around and drives an axe right into his head (just like the mannequin in the living room). I guess you can call that some poetic justice. While the cops are there, Henry gets a call about his mother and takes off even though the cops aren’t done with him.

Molly sees that her parents house is up for sale, so she decides to go in. The Kid is sitting on the stairs and seems to know all about her life. That’s not creepy at all, right? He even tells her about her own death, which she appeared to see earlier in the episode while she was drinking tea at her house. With two episodes left, it’ll be interesting to see if all of the remaining questions are answered.

Castle Rock airs on Wednesdays on Hulu.
