With a new month on the horizon, Netflix will not only be adding new selections, but removing titles as well. Here are seven movies to watch before they leave on September 1.
With September 1 just a few days away, Netflix is gearing up for it’s monthly overhaul of its movie selections. Blockbusters like Black Panther and Spider-Man 3 are coming this month. However, there are quite a few movies leaving the streaming service in just a few short days. Now is your chance to watch these movies before they are gone.
Here are seven movies to enjoy before they leave Netflix on September 1.
13 Going On 30
Imagine jumping 17 years into the future with just one wish. That’s the premise of 13 Going On 30.
The film tells the story of Jenna Rink, a shy, 13-year-old girl who wishes to be popular. After a magical wish, Jenna is transported into the life of her successful 29-year-old self, played by Jennifer Garner, just shy of her 30th birthday by a few days. The film also stars Mark Ruffalo, Judy Greer, and Andy Serkis.
Batman Begins / The Dark Knight
The first two parts of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy raised the stakes of what can be done in a superhero movie. Batman Begins is the origin story for Bruce Wayne, played by Christian Bale, as he searches for purpose in his life, which became defending Gotham City as Batman. The Dark Knight not only continued Bruce Wayne’s story, but introduced the world to Heath Ledger’s interpretation of the Joker, for which he won an Academy Award.
