A new limited series is here! Maniac is now streaming on Netflix.

It only took the trailer and star-studded cast for Manic to grab out attention. Fans have been looking forward to the show since production began! Emma Stone, Jonah Hill, and Justin Theroux? Count us in! Will you be binge-watching the new limited series this weekend?

From director Cary Fukunaga and creator Patrick Somerville, Maniac follows Annie Landsberg (Emma Stone) and Owen Milgrim (Jonah Hill). The two strangers are part of a pharmaceutical trial. It’s risky, but they have their own dark reasons for volunteering. Bottom line, Owen and Annie’s lives have not turned out right, what do they have to lose? Not to mention, Dr. James K. Mantleray (Justin Theroux) promises participants that the medication will repair anything and everything wrong with their mind, from mental illness to negative thoughts. Sound too good to be true? It definitely is!

The miniseries is already a winner at Rotten Tomatoes, with a radiant score of 86% from critics and fans can’t wait to check it out! Lucky for us, Maniac arrived at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Friday, September 21.

If we’ve learned anything from television, movies, and even real life, is that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! What secrets will we uncover? Dr. Mantleray guarantees no side affects will follow the medications, but we highly doubt that.
