Netflix Canada sees 41 titles in list of Top 250 movies

Netflix Canada users have long complained about not being able to watch the same shows and movies as those in America. It was recently revealed, however, that 41 out of the current top 250 films are aired through the Canadian streaming service.
The top 250 list, presented by IMDB and generated by the television and movie site’s users alone, is compiled of a wide array of genres. Action, sci-fi, dramas, and comedies are all heavily featured. There are even some foreign films, including the heavily coveted German war film Das Boot.
Also included are classics such as To Kill a Mockingbird, family favorites like How to Train Your Dragon, and historical dramas like Lawrence of Arabia. Essentially, there is something for everybody in this list of 41 movies.
However, there is the slight issue of certain films having been removed from Netflix Canada in the wake of the aforementioned movies becoming available. Company honchos decided to switch out The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring in favor for The Return of the King, which is the third movie in the hit fantasy saga. This action caused much disappointment to those who are a fan of binge-watching, as they are now lacking the ability to finish off their viewing party without having to switch platforms.

Netflix has indeed been doing their best to add more titles, both television and movie wise, to their service over the years. Given the amount of Canadian users who had been managing to find other means of obtaining the titles offered by the American version, it was no surprise to find out just a few months ago that the Canadian platform has caught up to the point of being the third-largest catalogue in the world, only 207 titles short.
Citizens of the great white north are even happier now that the popularity of movies shown on their platform has been revealed. The aforementioned list of said 41 movies is as follows:
