A new movie has arrived! Hold the Dark is now streaming on Netflix.
Finishing up the month of September is Netflix’s Hold the Dark. If you are searching for a new film to watch this weekend, this one is perfect to start off the fall movie season.
September has given us a lot of fun movies. Our favorite? Black Panther, of course! Sure, it’s not a Netflix Original, but that’s just how much we love the hero. But if you have been patiently waiting for a serious drama, your patience is about to be rewarded with Hold the Dark! The movie is now streaming on Netflix, and we’ve got all you need to know about it.
Jeffrey Wright plays Russell Core, a retired wolf expert who travels to northern Alaska. He was reluctant to go, but was asked by Medora Slone (Riley Keough), a mother whose son was killed by a pack of wolves. The grieving mother wants to hunt down the wolves who killed her son. It’s a case Russell can’t say no to, after all, he is the perfect man for the job.
