Supernatural Season 14: Is Castiel about to sell his soul?

Castiel will do anything to get Dean back in Supernatural Season 14? Will he go as far as selling his soul? He certainly would be one of the Winchesters if he did.

It’s the final countdown! Dum-dum-dum-dum, da-rada-dum,…sorry, sorry I’m just little excited that Supernatural Season 14 premieres in less than two weeks now. And I’m sure you are too.

Once the new season does return, all eyes and ears will be focused on how we get Dean back. Currently parading around as Michael!Dean, we certainly hope it won’t be for too long. Hopefully longer than Deanmon did; we do need a little than what we got there.

The Supernatural stars have been out in force discussing the new season, and during an interview between Misha Collins and Entertainment Weekly, he spoke about where Cas is right now. How far he is willing to go in the effort to get Dean back?

Collins said the following:

"“He’s willing to make any kind of deal with any kind of devil in order to get Dean back.”"

This made me wonder. Will Castiel go as far as selling his soul in Supernatural Season 14?

If he did make the deal, it would certainly further brand him as one of the Winchesters. All of them have sold their own souls at some point, or at least attempted to anyway. John sold his for Dean. Dean sold his for Sam. Sam tried to sell his for Dean, but the demons refused to make the deal.

Mary also made a deal, but that one was a bit messed up, so we are going to ignore that one.

So, will Cas follow in the Winchester family tradition of selling souls? He is pretty much a Winchester. He has proved himself over time and time again, so why not?

The only issues I can see with this is:

a) Who does he sell his soul to? Crowley is gone, it looks like Michael!Dean might take over Hell but it is hardly likely he is going to agree to set Dean free.

b) Does Castiel have a soul to sell? I honestly can’t remember if angels do or don’t. I would like to think they would (but they probably don’t since they go to the Empty). If they didn’t however, surely Cas can just swear fealty to Hell or something instead.
