9-1-1 Season 2, Episode 3 preview: Can Hen be saved?
The earthquake has happened and now the first responders are in the middle of the save. One of their own is trapped in 9-1-1 Season 2, Episode 3, but can she be saved?
9-1-1 Season 2, Episode 3 sees the first responders deal with the aftermath of the earthquake. Still at the risk of aftershocks, the firefighters are in the collapsing hotel after rubble fell around them. Hen is trapped and it looks like she may not get out of this alive.
However, she isn’t going to give up. This is a woman with everything to fight for and in the promo, she leaves a heartbreaking voicemail to say that she’s not going to give up. She will fight to the end because her family is worth that. It’s what we’d all hope to feel if ever trapped in that situation.
This isn’t an easy situation for anyone. Chim and Bobby aren’t going to leave Hen behind, but they know that they need to get her out carefully. If they move the wrong bit of rubble, the whole hotel will come down on top of them. Plus, they still have a little girl to find.

Meanwhile, in 9-1-1, Athena is dealing with others around L.A. It looks like someone is moaning and forgetting the bigger picture in the promo because Athena is certainly putting someone in their place. There’s always someone who only thinks of the initial effect disasters have on them and not that there would be people in far more serious predicaments.

And then there’s Maddie, who struggled a little on her first day to be a dispatcher and not a nurse. It’s an understandable struggle and all she wants to do is help. She’ll get a chance to do that in 9-1-1 Season 2, Episode 3, titled “Help Is Not Coming.” This storyline may be the reason for the title, as Maddie has to help deliver a baby (and it sounds like it’s going to be over the phone).
