Riverdale: Jughead and Betty team up in Fortune and Men’s Eyes for an investigation

CW has released stills for Riverdale, season 3, episode 3, in which we see Jughead and Betty team up again to investigate a new mystery.

Bughead fans, we’ll be seeing Jughead and Betty team up again soon. The last time this happened was in season one when they were investigating the death of Jason Blossoms. I don’t recall them playing detective in the second season.

I suspect season 3 will be bringing us the jitters as the drama and intensity is going up a notch. Michael Ausiello of TVLine answered a fan by dishing some scoop, thanks Michael! We’ll be seeing a conclusion of Archie’s murder trial, but it seems it’s not what we were expecting. I wonder what that could mean, exactly. Could it be that the producers will be throwing us off? Some kind of twist? We can’t wait to find out!

In addition to the mystery, we may have to come up with a shipping name for a new high school couple that may be in a relationship soon, as well. Veronica and Archie, Betty and Jughead, Tori and Cheryl. I think that’s enough for now, but we’re shippers, so the more the merrier.

Oh, and there will be a scene that puts one of the main character’s life in jeopardy. Who will it be?

We’ll also be meeting Laurie Lake, a mysterious woman who starts off as flirtatious, but she may be dangerous. I would already say she’s dangerous as she may be trying to make Archie or Jughead cheat on their girlfriends, but they’re loyal and I don’t see them doing that.

CW has also released the synopsis for Riverdale season 3, episode 2:

"FIRST DAY JITTERS — After a gruesome discovery is made in the forest, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and Betty (Lili Reinhart) team up to investigate Riverdale’s latest mystery. As Archie (KJ Apa) navigates his new surroundings, Veronica (Camila Mendes) devises a plan to bring a bit of home to him. Elsewhere, when Moose (guest star Cody Kearsley) decides to join the RROTC, Kevin (Casey Cott) worries he may be pulling away from him."
