3. “World Wharf II: The Wharfening”

Season 4, Episode 22

Why it’s a spooky delight: Skipping ahead to the end of season 4, this is part 2 of the 2-part season finale. Part 1 of the episode, “Wharf Horse” is incredible and I’d recommend but isn’t a creepy episode but any means. Part 2 of the episode, “World Wharf II: The Wharfening” is though.

The episode is a continuation from the plotline in the 1st episode. If you don’t watch spoiled, make sure to watch the 1st episode to understand. However, there is a brief overview of what happens before the episode begins. Anyways, the episode is all about Felix getting his revenge on his brother Calvin and Bob while the rest of the Belcher family and Teddy search for him.

What makes this episode creepy is Felix’s plan to murder Calvin and Bob by drowning. It’s super twisted and a murder plot is not what I thought I’d ever see on Bob’s Burgers. It’s also creepy how close Felix is to just let them die and how Calvin doesn’t seem to really care about it.

“World Wharf II: The Wharfening” is an all-around solid episode. Despite the creepy premise, it still has an upbeat nature including songs, one-liners from the kids and a happy ending. It’s definitely an episode fans love and it’s perfect for a quick Halloween binge.
