New Girl cast: Where are they now?

Ever since Fox’s New Girl wrapped up, we’ve been missing our favorite roomies! Where are they now?
Fox’s New Girl filled our homes with laughs and sometimes even tears, both from laughing too much or the sweet tender moments between the besties. If you ask me, the sitcom ended way too soon. But at least, unlike many other series that gave fans awful endings, we can say we’re very happy with how the series came to a close earlier this year.
Nick and Jess were end game, the gang remained friends, and they’re all parents! Too cute! If you follow the cast on Instagram, you’ll see they are all still pretty close. The boys, in particular, often comment on each other’s posts.
If you follow their accounts, you may also have noticed that they’re all busy bees! What’s the cast up to nowadays?
Zooey Deschanel
Who’s that girl? It’s Jess! The beautiful Zooey Deschanel will always be Jessica Day to us! The bubbly actress has taken a break from TV and movies to focus on another passion of hers — food and traveling!
You may have seen the actress pop up on Instagram while scrolling. Deschanel recently shared with AOL travel tips for every budget, from Disneyland to Norway. This isn’t why she’s been around our socials, though. The actress, who’s rocking a new hairstyle, has been busy working as co-founder for the organization Farm Project, promoting healthy food and ingredients.

Winston aka Winnie the Bish aka aka aka Brown Lighting, is my personal favorite member of the crew! Portrayed by Lamorne Morris, Winston provided the show with many laughs, and even more pranks!
It was recently announced that the New Girl alum would be starring in Woke, a Hulu comedy based on the life and art of cartoonist Keith Knight. We can’t wait to see this! Expect to also catch Morris in The Christmas Chronicles and the film Bloodshot.
Max Greenfield
Schmidt was too hilarious on New Girl, even over-the-top just a tad, but we loved him anyway! Now, you can find Greenfield around the neighborhood! Well, not literally, but he plays Dave on CBS’ The Neighborhood. Check it out!
Hannah Simone
There was never a dull moment with the gorgeous Cece around! Hannah Simone received a pilot order from ABC for a comedy she is co-writing and starring in! No name for the series is known just yet, but it is inspired by Simone’s nontraditional Indian family.
Jake Johnson
Similar to Max Greenfield, Jake Johnson is also around the neighborhood, but as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! He is the voice of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, in theaters December 14.
Earlier this month, it was also announced that the actor would be starring in the Netflix adult animated comedy series Hoops.
Damon Wayans Jr.
Coach may have only appeared on a few episodes of New Girl, but we still consider him a part of the loft family and an OG. He stars in CBS’ Happy Together, where his father, Damon Wayans, recently guest starred. Very cool!
