Your first-look at The Vampire Diaries Jeremy Gilbert in Legacies

The CW released stills from Legacies Season 1, Episode 3, titled We’re Being Punked, Pedro, and one of the stills includes your first-look at Jeremy Gilbert.

Fans of The Vampire Diaries, today is your lucky day! The CW released stills from the upcoming episode of Legacies, which will be guest-starring one of your favorites, Jeremy Gilbert. Jeremy will appear in the Season 1, Episode 3, titled “We’re Being Punked, Pedro.”

We all saw what happened at the end of last week’s episode when we saw a Gargoyle King introduced. Since Jeremy became a supernatural hunter in season 4 of The Vampire Diaries, this is probably the best moment for him to return to help Alaric take down the Gargoyle King.

Creator Julie Plec recently said we would get a sense of what Jeremy has been up to and get a nice little boost from him in our lives. He has certainly grown from not believing in vampires, and is now a supernatural hunter.

Here is a synopsis of the Season 1, Episode 3 episode, We’re Being Punked, Pedro, per CW:

"KEEPING SECRETS — As punishment for breaking the rules, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell), Lizzie (Jenny Boyd), Josie (Kaylee Bryant) and MG (Quincy Fouse) are forced to participate in a community service project in the Mystic Falls town square. Meanwhile, Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) and Rafael’s (Peyton Alex Smith) attempt at a carefree life on the road takes a dangerous turn when they become unsuspecting targets. Finally, Alaric (Matthew Davis) realizes that keeping secrets from his students may be causing more harm than good."

I wonder if Alaric called Jeremy to Mystic Falls or if he just happened to pop up. Although, it would make the most sense if Alaric called for Jeremy’s help, otherwise how else would Jeremy know about the town being in danger?

I’m not sure if Steven R. McQueen has a recurring role on Legacies, but it appears he’s only guest-starring. At least that’s my assumption.

What do you guys think about all this? Do you think Jeremy will come and help save the town? He does have experience, but he never hunted a Gargoyle King before. Do you also think the show will reference Jeremy’s past? Or perhaps Alaric will ask how Elena and him have been? That would be nice if they did. Regardless, I’m excited Jeremy is back!
