Survivor: David vs. Goliath – You Get What You Give preview & LS
The next episode of Survivor is You Get What You Give, and the Goliaths may soon be breaking up their stranglehold on the game.
The full merge has taken place fairly unceremoniously on this season of Survivor, and there is now a new tribe named Kalokalo. Elizabeth picked the name because she read it somewhere before the season began. A book on strategy would have been more beneficial.
As it turns out, the Goliaths stayed strong despite some drama, and voted Elizabeth out. On top of that, however, the rest of the Davids voted her out as well. The “as long as it’s not me”-strategy is alive an well.
What to expect next episode
Guess what? Gabby is going to cry, because that’s what Gabby does. Every episode. Part of what makes Survivor amazing to watch is the most irritating person on the tribe may not be the most irritating person to watch on television. She’s definitely the most irritating to watch at the moment, but Angelina appears to be chafing other competitors the most.

The numbers seem like an obvious guide to voting. It’s 7-6 Goliaths, then Elizabeth gets voted off. So with a 2 vote lead, the Goliaths can now use that gap to get rid of the person they dislike or distrust the most and still hold advantage. Given the last episode and Angelina’s early jockeying for jury votes, it seems pretty clear she’s near the bottom of the tribe. Time to vote her out and retain the Goliath numbers, right?
It probably won’t happen. Sigh. Someone strong likely leaves next. This season is already shaping up to be yet another in which lazy snakes sit around, do nothing, and then talk about how good they were at the game in the final tribal council, when in reality they were kept around because they sucked at just about everything the majority of the season.
