Netflix debuts Stranger Things Season 3 teaser at CCXP

Fans have been dying to see Netflix’s third season of Stranger Things, expected to come in 2019. The new season will explore even more of the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana.

The public has been waiting a long time to see anything at all that showcases Stranger Things 3, and fans at CCXP in Brazil were presented with a brand new teaser trailer of the upcoming season. Collider’s Steven Weintraub tweeted out about the trailer but mentioned that the trailer was in Portuguese, so he couldn’t understand what was being said.

When news broke about a third season, Netflix ended up announcing that the season would be delayed. Netflix VP of Original Content Cindy Holland explained that Stranger Things co-creators The Duffer brothers wanted to take it slowly and deliver something that was bigger and better than season two.

Netflix ended up dropping the trailer for the rest of the world on Sunday and confirmed that it would come in 2019. The cast has taken to social media to promote the upcoming season and have said it will be the darkest one to date.

Producer Shawn Levy told Playlist that while the episode will have fun, poppy and levity, and more action. Netflix also announced the titles for the upcoming season, which includes: “Suzie, Do You Copy?,” “The Mall Rats,” “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard,” “The Sauna Test,” “The Source,” “The Birthday,” “The Bite,” and “The Battle of Starcourt.”  Levy also warned fans that:

"“It would be a mistake for anyone to think that Season Three is the summer of fun and lightness because it’s a whole lot more than that.”"

Stranger Things has earned four Golden Globe nomination, 10 Primetime Emmys and received six Creative Arts Emmys.
