God Friended Me Season 1, Episode 11 is the fall finale and also one of those episodes that is likely to break our hearts. Miles gets the toughest friend suggestion so far on the series, and he’s had some pretty tough ones recently.

Tonight, he’s given the friend suggestion of the man who killed his mom. You’ll remember that Miles stopped believing in God after his mother’s death. She’d just beaten cancer and was on her way home to enjoy time with her family while in remission. However, on the way home, the car was hit by a drunk driver and she was killed. What was the point in beating cancer if this was the plan God had for her all along?

Now it’s that drunk driver Miles is being sent to help. It’s certainly not going to be easy and he will be the bigger man for taking on the challenge. The question is whether he can do it. This is clearly a test from whoever is running the God account — is it God himself or someone messing with him? That’s a question we still have.

Rakesh and Cara will be there to help him get through the night. However, will it be enough? Considering it’s the fall finale, what’s going to happen to end it for a couple of weeks until the show returns in the new year?

It’s clear that Miles’ father has been hiding something for all these years. Will this be the way the episode ends?
