Is NCIS Season 16 on this week, January 22?
Gibbs and co. usually take up the first slot of primetime on Tuesday nights. Is that the case this week? Is new NCIS Season 16 on this week?
It’s not often that CBS makes a switch to its Tuesday night programming. Well, that’s unless there’s a presidential address or some sort of unexpected sports. But neither of those are the reasons for a chance to your regular NCIS Season 16.
There is no new episode on tonight. In fact, Gibbs and co. won’t be on our screens at all tonight. CBS is giving the 8 p.m. slot up to Big Brother: Celebrity Edition. This whole week is being a little messed around with shows getting reruns, Big Brother taking over timeslots, and Fam getting two episodes (one in an unexpected timeslot).

There isn’t going to be a new episode of NCIS for a couple of weeks. Next Tuesday will see a Super Bowl commercials special. To be honest, this is at least a little entertaining. The commercials are the best part of the whole of Super Bowl and it’s not often I actually like watching commercials!
New NCIS returns on Feb. 5 at its usual 8 p.m. timeslot. Titled “She,” a nine-year-old is found confused and malnourished in a storage unit. It turns out this girl may be a daughter of a Navy recruit. The Navy recruit went missing a decade earlier and there’s a Ziva David connection.
As you would expect with Ziva, she stayed on the case longer than NCIS had it in the hope of closing the case. There’s a chance Bishop will and maybe McGee will have the chance to let DiNozzo know.
Until then, we’ll have some schedule changes to deal with. Make sure you have CBS All Access, which you can get through Amazon Channels, to watch reruns until Gibbs and co. return.
