Legacies Season 1, Episode 8 preview: Will Hope save Landon?

The midseason finale of Legacies revealed Hope found out that Klaus watched over her every day and didn’t regret his choice to die. Klaus also would not find peace until Hope did. Here’s how to watch tonight’s episode live.

Legacies, Season 1, Episode 7, titled “Death Keeps Knocking On My Door” is one of the best episodes to date. We see Hope breakdown for the first time, we learn what Klaus has been up to in the afterlife, and more.

The episode ended in a cliffhanger, with Landon needing Hope’s help as he finds himself in trouble. Landon uses the watch that Hope gave him for when he needed her. In tonight’s episode, we’ll find out what’s happening with Landon.

Tonight’s midseason premiere return

From the trailer, we see Landon in big trouble, and Hope needs to save him before it’s too late. You have got to love the fierce Hope holding a gun, telling the monster “Tell me where he is before I blow your head off!”

In other news, MG is close to becoming a Ripper. MG better not become one, or we have a problem. We definitely don’t want another Ripper Stefan.

The Necromancer steals the magic knife, so things are becoming ugly fast. The knife opened the first lock, and there are two locks left before the supernaturals get ready for the Malivore.

I’ve read an interesting comment online from a fan which seems possible that this is the case: Is Landon’s mother’s locket involved in one of the last two locks? If so, will the supernaturals go after Landon?

We saw something pop up at the end of the midseason finale that was heading towards Landon when Hope’s watch lit up. So as that fan wrote, it may be best if Landon actually stays at the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted.

If I also may add, Legacies started off slow, but it’s becoming one of CW’s hit shows. I love the characters now, which speaks volumes to the creator of Legacies, The Vampire Diaries, and The Originals, Julie Plec.

The synopsis for Legacies, Season 1, Episode 8 “Maybe I Should Start from the End” is, per The CW:

"“LANDON’S PAST — After discovering that Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) is in trouble, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) and Alaric (Matthew Davis) set out in search for him. Along the way, they uncover some startling information about Landon’s past."
