Do you remember the time Paris Hilton guest starred on Supernatural? It’s time to revisit that with this Season 5, Episode 5 recap.

There have been many notable guest stars over the years on Supernatural. One of those was in Season 5, Episode 5. Yes, it was the one Paris Hilton guest starred as a god.

Getting over the irony, the episode reminded us that there was more to the angel and demon storyline. Remember when we had lots of pagan god storylines in the earlier seasons? This episode brought some of that back.

It also gave us an episode of the Winchesters hunting together again. The first few episodes had definitely been hard.

James Dean and Abraham Lincoln?

The episode starts with the Winchesters heading out to a small town where there have been some strange murders. Like, extra strange. One man had found James Dean’s car and ended up killed as if he’d been in a major car accident, while another was murdered by Abraham Lincoln — at least, someone who looked like him.

The Winchesters decide to do some research, wondering whether famous ghosts really are doing the killing. During a trip to a wax museum, Mahatma Gandhi attacks Sam.

Later, two girls say their friend was kidnapped by Paris Hilton. I’m sure you can guess what Dean and Sam looked like.

Figuring out the truth

When peculiar seeds are found in all the victims’ stomachs, the two head back to the museum to the construction area, where Paris Hilton is waiting for them. It turns out Paris Hilton is a pagan god, Leshii, in disguise looking for a new home, after her former home had been cut down.

She’s able to turn herself into other family people by touching possessions, which allows her to feed off the victims’ blood. After some digs at House of Wax and when Paris attacks, Sam is able to kill her with an iron axe.

Finally, the two brothers are able to make up properly. All this time Sam has been blaming himself for the start of the apocalypse, but Dean reminds his brother that Dean was the one to break that first seal. Now isn’t the time to worry about being vessels of Michael and Lucifer. The just need to work on fighting together.
