Bob’s Burgers: 5 episodes to watch instead of the Super Bowl
4. “Best Burger”
Switching gears completely, let’s move ahead a few seasons. While this episode isn’t technically sports-themed, it does feature a competition. Entitled “Best Burger,” this episode follows Bob as he enters a burger contest. Everything goes well until he realizes that his secret ingredient is missing so he sends the kids to retrieve it from the restaurant.

Once again, this is another great episode for Bob and his kids. This time, the focus is on Gene as he’s the one who messed up. What makes this episode so memorable is the last few minutes of it but I won’t give away any spoilers. Let’s just say that the ending makes the entire episode all the better. Of all the episodes on my list, this is easily the most underrated.
“Best Burger” likely isn’t anyone’s favorite but it has a charm about it. Coupled with some talented guest stars like Bill Hader and Kumail Nanjiani, the episode has a lot going for it and delivers with equal parts heart and humor. It was aired between the show’s Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes so it does tend to get overshadowed but it’s worth a watch nonetheless.
