5 major takeaways from Deadly Class Season 1, Episode 6
Deadly Class Season 1, Episode 6 picked up a month after that shocking end to the Vegas episode. Ready to find out what happened? Here are the top takeaways from Stigmata Martyr.
After the shocking end to the Vegas-set episode, Deadly Class admittedly struggled to keep up the intensity in Season 1, Episode 6. But that’s not surprising. It’s now time to set up the next set of storylines, which is something the show certainly managed to do.
Teachers were pitted against each other, backstories were revealed, and secrets came out. It’s time to delve into “Stigmata Martyr” and see just what happened. What moments do you need to concentrate on for the future of this season? Here are the five I’ve picked out.
5. Maria is struggling with everything
During the episode, Maria admitted to Saya that she’s stopped taking her pills. It’s not a good thing, though. Maria needs those pills.

Throughout the episode, it’s clear that she and Marcus are trying to keep their relationship a secret. A legacy and a rat together is a big no-no, especially for a legacy like Maria — and for two who were directly involved in Chico’s murder.
While the other three of the core five know about the relationship, Petra learns about it during the episode. She promises to keep it all a secret, but it’s clear that if Maria continues down her current path, everything is going to unravel. And it will if she doesn’t start taking her medication again.
The pills aren’t to help her cope in some seedy way. She’s bipolar and we watched as she had her manic and then depressive states. She wants to be loved and she needs to feel that love, and we learn all about the backstory and how she was taken away from her family, as they were being murdered, by Chico’s family.
This doesn’t bode well for the future.
