How to Train Your Dragon flies to the top of the Box Office
By Sandy C.
Not that How to Train Your Dragon doesn’t have a solid fanbase, but thanks to a quiet weekend, it was an easy win for the animated feature at the Box Office.
What did you go see in theaters this weekend? The numbers are in from Box Office Mojo. At the top of the box office sits How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World with a very respectable $55.5 million domestically. Adding its collection overseas, How to Train Your Dragon 3 has a grand total of $274.9 million, now that’s flying high!
Alita: Battle Angel comes in at second place, dropping from first. The movie adds $12 million domestically to its growing total, now with $262.3 million worldwide. The movie stars Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz, and Jennifer Connelly.
In third, you’ll find The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part with $10 million. Its worldwide total is now $136.6 million, which is actually pretty low for being on its third week out. This isn’t anywhere near what the original movie gathered. Have audiences grown tired of playing with LEGO’s?
