Supernatural Season 14, Episode 16 synopsis: A never-seen-before monster?
The synopsis for Supernatural Season 14, Episode 16 is out and there’s an interesting bit about the monster.
Supernatural Season 14, Episode 16 is set to be a monster-of-the-week episode judging by the synopsis. There’s an intriguing element to that synopsis about said monster.
If you consider anything from a synopsis a spoiler then you won’t want to read this post. However, I will say that it doesn’t seem to give anything away about Episodes 14 and 15, so the synopsis is more of a tease than anything else. Think of it as the blurb to a book.
It looks like it will be a monster-of-the-week episode. Titled “Don’t Go Into the Woods,” I’d wondered that very early on. With only a handful of episodes left by this point, a monster-of-the-week episode makes sense.

However, the synopsis gives us a tease of what to expect from that monster. It’s something that the Winchesters haven’t come across before, which is definitely exciting. There tends to be a lot of recycling used lore but there’s nothing better than getting something fresh, something that teaches us a thing or two about mythology from around the world.

Fresh lore and the Supernatural take on it was always my favorite part of the earlier seasons. I live and breathe for the three seasons especially because of this. So, I’m excited to see what this new monster is.
Meanwhile, Jack is trying to make some friends. Why would he be looking elsewhere for friends? Does this have something to do with the events coming up in Episode 14? That’s not clear. All we know is that Jack is still alive and kicking — while that could be a spoiler, I don’t class it as one since Jack is a series regular and I wouldn’t see the show killing him off considering they tried that in Episode 8 of the season!
