Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 13 photo preview: Beati Bellicosi
We’re excited that the official photos released for Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 13, Beati Bellicosi show Clary’s emotional return to New York, but have you seen these Luke and Maryse moments?! Check out all the new pictures:
In last week’s episode of Shadowhunters, Jace was able to get to Paris with the help of Luke, Magnus, and Alec to find Clary. Still in the grasp of Jonathan, Clary chose to stab herself in the leg (are weekly Morgerstern sibling stabbings a thing now?) to hurt Jonathan, causing him to flee the scene before Jace helped Clary with an iratze rune to help her. In Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 13, “Beati Bellicosi,” Clary will be returning to New York and reuniting with the team at the Institute.
We’re the most excited to see her reunion with Simon though because he was left out of the loop about Clary’s true whereabouts while he and Isabelle were determined to destroy the Mark of Cain in the Seelie Realm. We have LOTS of pictures this week showing Clary’s emotional homecoming, but it also seems like she’ll be educating them all on her life-link to Jonathan and the power of the rune Lilith carved into her chest — and we see quite a few protective and nervous looks from the guys.

In other (potentially steamy) news, Luke will be going to Maryse for help in Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 13, and the photos seem to hint that the pair has some chemistry. When we talked with Isaiah Mustafa about this during Season 3A, he voted on using #Laryse and so that’s what we’re going to stick with — and Laryse could be rising. Simon and Isabelle both seem to be recovering okay following Simon’s resurrection (again), but it’s hard to tell from the few photos how they’ve been impacted by what’s happened.
We’re also very excited to see Maia returning in Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 13, and based on what’s happening in the episode teaser trailer, it looks like Luke is going to sway her to challenge the pack alpha. We’re long overdue for a badass Maia fight scene, and we’re very ready to see her in action.
