There’s a new series for you to watch! Shadow is now streaming on Netflix.

The South African series, Shadow, has arrived on Netflix. What’s it about, how many episodes are there to watch, and who stars in the series? Here’s everything you need to know.

If you’re into crime-thrillers, Shadow needs to be on your watch list. The series follows an ex-cop, Shadow, who has the ability to not feel any pain, something that comes in very handy in his line of work. Though he is no longer a cop, he continues to fight crime and goes by his own rules.

Shadow  consists of eight episodes, all now available to stream, and stars Pallance Dladla, Khathu Ramabulana, and Amanda du-Point.

Here’s the official synopsis from Netflix: “In Johannesburg, tough ex-cop Shadow (Dladla) pursues justice on his own terms and seeks to help those who are powerless to protect themselves.”

If you’re searching for more to watch on Netflix this weekend, check out Northern Rescue. The streaming giant also recently released several old favorites that include Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist and Wet Hot American Summer. 

Three other shows and movies fans are highly anticipating this month are The Order, After Life (also streaming now) and the third season of Santa Clarita Diet coming out towards the end of the month. Out of everything on the list, though, The Highwaymen is definitely a fan favorite.
