Leah Pipes stars in Mommy Group Murder, the first of two new films on Lifetime’s Mommy Madness weekend. I felt it was my duty to rank all five killer moms: check it out here!

As part of Lifetime’s March Mommy Madness weekend, Mommy Group Murder is one of two new original films debuting this weekend. It stars Leah Pipes (The Originals) as Natalie, a troubled young mom dealing with postpartum depression who finds sanctuary with a group of moms from the neighborhood.

At first, everything is great. Grace, in particular, is a lifesaver. She quite literally saves Natalie’s baby’s life at one point early on and it cements their new friendship. Nothing gold can stay though, as they say, and it doesn’t take long for cracks to show in Grace’s veneer of perfection.

Let it be known that the amount of times I’ve had to type “mommy” in this article has made me sufficiently uncomfortable. Here is my official ranking of all the moms from the “mommy group”.

5. Lydia

Clearly, Lydia can barely rank on this list. She has been kept like a dog in Grace’s house (well actually, it’s Lydia’s house) for months.

As if being forcibly confined to a barren basement room with nothing but a mattress wasn’t bad enough, Grace also keeps her tethered to the walls with chains, handcuffs, padlocks, and a ball gag in her mouth. I mean, what the f**k!? was my first thought when watching this.

I expected the film to take a dark, sinister, turn (this is Lifetime and “murder” is in the title) sure, but I didn’t anticipate how dark Grace’s agenda really was until this surprising and shocking discovery was made by Natalie.
